With his marriage deteriorating Jim Nantz started to date a 29 year old, however this was not attributed to his divorce. The divorce was imminent. What happens when you go strange or want strange? This divorce will costs Jim Nantz nearly $72,000 a month until he dies or until she remarries. Hmmmmm I dont think Ann-Lorraine “Lorrie” Carlsen Nantz is going to give that up. It ends up being about $917,000 a year. Why get married ever? That is a good chunk of cheese. In addition Jim Nantz will have to pay $1000 a week for child support for the next two years. That seems like pocket change. You would think that the judge would give more to the kid than his wife.

I used to listen to Jim Nantz on the Don and Mike Radio Show. Nantz would come off as this wholesome guy. A goody goody, doesnt drink or get drunk, pow-wowing with the latest sports stars. But every man hits that point where you have to just go strange. His wife was probably just driving him nuts. When you are on the road like Jimmy is, it was bound to happen. Dont mess with the Strange it will cost you.
