Fantasy Football Justice – Frank Gore

That’s how fantasy football owners felt yesterday when the San Francisco 49′ers lost in the final seconds to Bret Favre and the Vikings. After giving all the right, reassuring signals this past week that Frank Gore was healthy enough to have an impact on Sunday, he then went on to last all of ONE play, leaving his fantasy owners completely screwed, and playing a man down the rest of the day. Whether it was Gore wanting to tough it out for the team, given his rep for being injury prone and even a bit fragile, or the training staff and Singletary pushing Gore too fast to come back after he limped of the field the week before, the outcome was particularly painful for his fantasy owners. If you have Gore, looks like it will be two weeks before he can come back and get re-injured.
